December 16, 2005, version 5.1.2 released. Four output audio formats added:
VOX, AU, AIFF and MP4.

December 2, 2005, version 5.1.1 released to fix the file extension bug. Now the converted mp3 / wma / ogg files will have correction extension.

October 25, 2005, new version 5.1 released. Web address bar now supports automatic loading of IE history URLs.

July 1, 2005, Great Upgrade version 5.0 Released!

  • Speaking and conversion are combined into one interface!
  • Speaking settings (language, ouput format, audio quality, volume, speed, pitch) are automatically remembered.
  • Pitch Property added, you can make a voice in a higher pitch or lower pitch now.
  • No need to bother switching sapi engines anymore! Just select your favorite voice is OK.
  • No need to wait for long when using sapi 4 voices. You can convert text to audio as fast as your CPU allows.

May 8, 2005, New version 4.5 Released. Menu bar is enhanced and shortcut keys adjusted to support almost all operations and keep conformed with Windows shortcut convention. The new and complete shortcut key list is here:

January 11, 2005, New Version 4.3 Released.

  • Loading DOC and PDF files now supported in Web mode. (Highlight what you want to listen and press CTRL+C. Then you can speak it or convert it).
  • Insert Silence Interval function added to Text Editor Toolbar so you can make the voice pause for a period defined by you.
  • Adjustment to software's interface design.

December 17, 2004, New version 4.2 Released. Email reading feature added. Local web file loading now supported.

Sept. 1, 2004, Great Update to 4.0 Released. Now you can use both sapi 4 and sapi 5 voices which supports free tts engines in 10 lanuages at least. And Text to WMA conversion is now supported. Plus redesigned Main and Conversion interface. Plenty of conversion quality options provided.
